Located in the north of Cape Leucate La Franqui was the first resort of the Aude. Nestled in the old pine trees, leaning against the shelf of the cliff, La Franqui is known for its huge sandy beach Coussoules (8 km long), which makes the joy for winter sports enthusiasts, and its wind. La Franqui was established as the kite surfing and wind surfing resort of the region.

There is the yearly Mondial du Vent show that takes place there around the middle of April which pull in the worlds best surfers.

In winter the wind can be of 22-42 knots so kite surfers can use their little kite. Powerful wind offshore and blowy can be very strength and very unpredictable. The best winds are in the spring and autumn.

Indeed, Punta Pellaro has scene so beautiful with the Aetna dominate the Strait, and in fact, from the historic resources, cultural, and artistic monuments such as those held by the historical towns of Reggio and Messina. The hinterland is composed of the islands Aeolian Islands, Taormina, Scilla and Aspromonte. Actually, Punta Pellaro has nothing to envy to any other place in the world.

The wind blows throughout the year, but the best period is from March to October, during which the water is warmer.

During the day the wind blows through the 15/20 knots in the morning and then get 25/30 in the afternoon until night.

The wind is thermal, the best directions are N, NW, NNW.

It is believed that the village gave the name of a nearby dune gray, the other from the Black Lagoon, and it seemed that here in the village started to be called a black shore – Juodkrante.

Since 1840 Juodkrante became known as a resort to the steamboats. Before the Second World War Juodkrante was widely known as a high-level resort.

One of the more significant sites are Juodkrante Witch Mountain, ornate wooden sculptures. Stone sculpture park is located on the coast, to Juodkrante walkway.

Juodkrante is one of the best kite surfing locality and kite beach in Lithuania. It is open for all wind directions. Curonian lagoon side is also great for snow kite boarding.

Sankt Peter-Ording is located on the western tip of the peninsula Eiderstedt in Schleswig-Holstein. The portion of the district is in the National Park Schleswig-Holstein.

The characteristics of St. Peter-Ording are the beach of about 12 kilometers long and up to two kilometers wide, the dunes, the salt marshes. Atypical for this area, it is subsequently planted forest cover. In particular, the salt marshes are of great ecological importance, since it is the few salt marshes in a largely natural state.

The waves are normally up to three meters. It is typical of coastal regions, there is also Ording Sankt Peter- maritime climate with mild winters and cool summers.

The island’s climate, especially the air on dunes and beach to the marsh and the forest contains much salt, iodine and aerosol containing substances. Additionally it provides the low allergen content of a particularly pure air.

The best months for kite surfing are March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October. The wind is frontal, the best directions are E, SW, NW.

This part of the Gargano is loved by kite surfers from around the world for the breezes that make the sparkling sea and also … stay.

Another issue: the “Spiaggia Lunga”, one of the most beautiful villages of the Gargano, is spread over an area of 250,000 square meters in a fully shaded area from the sea up to the hill.

A big green and shaded area, which combines the pleasure of working life in contact with the sea, well-being that only the trees and the green can offer in the beautiful summer days.

The hill and the shore zone are linked by a gentle slope, you can walk or take advantage of the free shuttle that connects the two areas, if you want to proceed more quickly and not miss a minute of your vacation.

Entertainment, dance shows and a pride of our village: the Panoramic Hill area is home to a large area with theatre, dance, cocktail bar and more for lovers of nightlife.

In this context, natural and unique, there are different types of residence available. You can stay in one of the 250 bungalows or try the experience of camping in the Gargano and reserve one of the 250 camping sites are scattered along the wide area of the village.

Among the camps of the Gargano this is one that offers more services: sports, restaurants, attractions, but also so much freedom!

The central position of  Spiaggia Lunga is also nice to organize a walk or bike to the hinterland of the Gargano, full of surprises, or excursions to the places of natural, historical, folkloric and religious who are in the surrounding area.

To go to the beach Beauduc, in the Camargue, we must follow a chaotic, long trail, and 12 kilometers from Salin de Giraud, east of the Camargue natural park.

Finally, after one hour, the beach and wild magic Beauduc paradise for fishermen clams, surfers and hippies, appears. A loss of sight, the white sand dunes are emerging between sky and sea.

Wild light, clear water … everything is there. The sails of kite surfers strained too … Like so many balloons released into the sky, they gaily colored the sky blue, to give it a festive air.

In addition to this superb picture sometimes it is stampeding horses of Camargue. As at Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer, everyone can see the horses wander free. They walk to the famous huts Beauduc, publicized in recent years, built of odds and ends, which, defying the bans, continue to line up proudly facing the Gulf.

Sport, fishing, horseback riding, rest, relaxation and walk in the village  – Beauduc therefore offers many attractions.
In the beach of Beauduc, the wind never really dies! Thus, this mythical place is suitable for many sports, said towed, such as kite surfing but also the “mountain board”, or “buggy pulled by kite”….

However, most of these sports still practiced without a doubt the “kite”. Sailing schools, specialized kite surfing, offer internships to several days, with accommodation at Salin de Giraud.

The Valdevaqueros beach is a beach in the town  Tarifa, in the region of Campo de Gibraltar in Andalusia, Spain . With a length of 4050 meters between the Punta de Valdevaqueros and Punta de la Penaand an average width of 120 meters, it is a little urbanized beach away from large population centres. In the western part of the beach is the mouth of the River Valley which forms a broad estuary that runs along the beach just meters from the sea to lead several hundred meters to the east.

The westernmost part of the beach is occupied by an extensive dune formed during the 40′s of XX century by the action of the military authorities stationed in the vicinity. Attempts to prevent sand movement that threatened to bury military installations led to the formation of a large dune that would later be fixed by pine afforestation. The dune is still active in training and no colonizing plant species. The area however has determined whether a plant community similar to other dunes in the area with understory species such as junipers and mastic.

The best months for kite surfing are March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October. The wind is thermal, the best directions are ESE and W. The wind changes from Poniente (West) to Levante (East) generally every few days, guess the best rate can be up to 60-70% days with more than 4 Bft per month in summer. Best direction is definitely ESE. When wind is forecasted from East, it’s possible that the wind will come to the beach (ESE). During summer nice thermal wind, up to 20 knots, and start in the afternoon at around 2pm and lasts to almost sunset.

Located a few kilometers from the city center Mondello is the most famous beach in Palermo. It can be reached directly through the large Parco della Favorita directly or through secondary connections from the suburbs of the city.

Mondello has a typical Mediterranean climate. In the summer heat and low rainfall, but with the humidity index is generally not high and airy (thanks to the continuous breezes) and rainy in winter and cool. In fact, most of the rainfall is concentrated in the winter semester. In this period are possible storms of rain and wind. As is typical of coastal areas in the air all year is still frequent. Very rarely Mondello beach (just like the other towns of Sicily Tyrrhenian) can be gently and briefly as charming whitewashed with a thin layer of snow.

The springs are warm (except in March and sometimes early April when they can still get cold trips from the Balkans) and usually already in the second half of April and May can be at the beach to sunbathe.
Summer is hot (sometimes, when the south wind blowing, temperatures can exceed 35 °C) but thanks to the typical Mediterranean breezes, the area is always pleasant.
It is usually the fall season heavy rains or storms that true in some cases, flooding several streets of the seaside village.

Grado have a great and rich past. It starts in the Roman period when Grado was the forepart of the alongside successful city of Aquileia. Number of the dissolution, notes and the other artifacts discovered in the Grado signify to Grado‘s Roman past. Nevertheless, it is from the 5th century that Grado‘s indicates the glory. In the 19th century Grado was developed into a word-class resort.

Grado’s world-class beaches are ably favored with a number of nature’s presents, including a wonderful climate, mildly declivous coasts and more than 21 km of beaches of highly superb sand. The leading beach of Grado is widely appreciable one of the most glorious and best appointed in Italy, gaining prizes year after year. It proposes an extensive alternative of sports and games organized competitions and distractions, including kite surfing, wind surfing, water skiing and beach volleyball. Also possible on the plage are several basketball courts, swimming pools and a thermal aquatic park. Beside the beach are a private golf  course and a private language school attracts persons from all parts of the world year by year to study Italian on the isle.

The temperature is the best from April to October, available for kite surfing all year.
