Indeed, Punta Pellaro has scene so beautiful with the Aetna dominate the Strait, and in fact, from the historic resources, cultural, and artistic monuments such as those held by the historical towns of Reggio and Messina. The hinterland is composed of the islands Aeolian Islands, Taormina, Scilla and Aspromonte. Actually, Punta Pellaro has nothing to envy to any other place in the world.

Located a few kilometers from the city center Mondello is the most famous beach in Palermo. It can be reached directly through the large Parco della Favorita directly or through secondary connections from the suburbs of the city.

Mondello has a typical Mediterranean climate. In the summer heat and low rainfall, but with the humidity index is generally not high and airy (thanks to the continuous breezes) and rainy in winter and cool. Grado have a great and rich past. It starts in the Roman period when Grado was the forepart of the alongside successful city of Aquileia. In the 19th century Grado was developed into a word-class resort.

The leading beach of Grado is widely appreciable one of the most glorious and best appointed in Italy, gaining prizes year after year. It proposes an extensive alternative of sports and games organized competitions and distractions, including kite surfing, wind surfing, water skiing and beach volleyball. Also possible on the plage are several basketball courts, swimming pools and a thermal aquatic park. Beside the beach are a private golf  course and a private language school attracts persons from all parts of the world year by year to study Italian on the isle.

The temperature is the best from April to October, available for kite surfing all year.

Porto Pollo has two beautiful bays created by the promontory of Isola dei Gabbiani, with far reaching views to the archipelago of the Magdalena Islands. Your base here is the Bay of Dolphins popular with kitesurfers and a local school offers all levels of instruction.

It is all year resort (best time to go is March – October).  is one of the most stunning islands in the Mediterranean. For kitesurfers and non-kitesurfer alike you will find something here for everyone. With white sandy beaches and crystal clear water as fine as the Caribbean. It is suitable for the beginner to advanced kitesurfer. Sardinia offers kitesurfers not only an ideal climate but also almost perfect wind conditions at least 10 months a year.

Sardinia has four winds depending on the time of year. The Spring brings the tramontana from north to east with 6 – 8 Beaufort. In the summer the poniente is south/west bringing 4- 8 Beaufort, and in the autumn the scirocco from North Africa with 5-6 Beaufort, and occasionally up to Force 9.

Porto Pollo is located in the windiest point in Sardinia. The proximity to Corsica creates a funnel effect which brings winds that blow up to 8 Beauforts and over. Due to the structure of the two bays you can choose to surf in the protected safe conditions or risk the adventure of sailing in the channel where the waves crest as tall as a rig.
